Just a quick update to post two new pictures that have surfaced in this blog. In the first one we can see Harry and Dumbledore arriving at Slughorn's house, and in the second one there's Harry and Ginny in the Room of Requirement (the same scene of the "almost kiss" we saw in that HBP sneak peek, remember?).

So yeah, we've all heard the news, right? WB has decided to postpone the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince until... wait for it: July 2009! Yay! /sarcasm

We do have some new pictures, including a Harry/Ginny one, that might help lessen the disappointment. The scans are from the new issue of EW (what is the deal with photoshopping pictures lately?? The cover looks like a wax figure!!) that was posted at ONTD and the stills are from a site called PipocaCombo. Thanks a lot HBP Movie Pics for the heads up as usual.

Thanks a lot to UHP via HBP Movie Pics for providing us with two new pictures of Harry and Ginny on the cover of some merchandise items (calendars and poster books I think). The picture of Ginny is new and she looks lovely!

In a new article on USA Today HBP director David Yates talks a bit about Harry and Ginny.

Do Harry and Ginny share a magical snog?
"They're about to kiss," director David Yates says. "Then the bloody Death Eaters turn up and cause all sorts of anarchy."

Don't worry though, I'm pretty sure this happens just at the beginning of the new scene in which the Death Eaters attack The Burrow NOT during the after-quidditch party

Harry develops feelings for Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright), the younger sister of his best pal Ron (Rupert Grint).

"Harry has these feelings for Ginny which he's unable to express or fulfill because Ron is very protective of her," says director David Yates. "Ginny is going through a time of exploration. She's finding confidence with boys and has been going out with a few. There's a kind of maturity that is quite adventurous."

Yates chose to do more improvising this time around, particularly as the young actors have matured in their craft. One such improvisational scene is one between Harry and Ginny that is fraught with romantic tension.

The scene they are talking about here is one at The Burrow in which Ginny ties Harry's shoelaces and when she stands up again they are very close and there's a lot of sexual tension *giggle*

I was going to post about TLC set report teaser, but they have taken it down from the site so I guess that means it wasn't supposed to be out yet

But we do have a very interesting quote from Dan, thanks to Anon via our affiliate BWO. It's from an interview that Allocine did with Dan on the set of HBP. Here is the quote:

Q: And the kiss scene with Ginny?
A: It was strange. When Katie Leung arrived on set during Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, it was to play Cho, who was Harry's first love. And we had known then that we'd have to kiss, so we weren't worried. On the other hand I've known Bonnie since she was 9! So it was very strange now that she's 17... But it all went well in the end!

Hey guys!! I'm partially back! (I say "partially" because I'm going again on the 6th, but I'll be back like 4 days later so it's no biggie)

If you've been checking the galleries you've probably noticed that for the past few days I've been adding all the new HBP pictures that have been popping up online. I was very busy and I couldn't do a proper update but I did have time to just upload

So, are the new pictures GREAT or what?! Pity we haven't gotten any new Harry/Ginny ones though, although the high res versions were VERY nice

Anyway, I've been getting all these from HBP Movie Pics so if you want to find the original sources, you should go there (I recommend you go anyway because there are a lot of non-Harry/Ginny pics worth seeing there!) The last one is one of the trailer images that have been recently released. As I said, you can find the rest almost anywhere, don't miss them! I think we're all going to have a collective heart attack when the trailer comes out

I have a lot of fanart to post by the way, but that takes a whole afternoon and I still haven't got the time so it will have to wait a bit (not too long though, don't worry )
